Chad Marriott

Chad Marriott is a partner in the Energy Development practice group at Stoel Rives LLP in Portland, Oregon.  As an attorney, Chad serves as counsel to project developers and sponsors across the renewable energy landscape with a focus on tax equity investments and equity transactions, including buy- and sell-side project M&A, joint ventures, cash equity investments and sell-downs. He has served as lead counsel on transactions for both operational and development-stage wind, solar, hydro, and battery energy storage projects in the United States and Canada.  Chad holds a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law, an M.S. from Indiana University-Bloomington, and a B.A. from the University of Utah.
