Renewable Northwest (RNW) is the region’s only organization solely focused on advancing clean energy infrastructure. RNW is membership based, drawing on the expertise of roughly 90 members, including the leading renewable energy, storage and transmission developers. Members also include the engineering and legal firms who support their work, and customer advocates and environmental groups. Together, we are a collaborative hub, bringing diverse stakeholders together to advocate for the public interest and achieve shared goals. By aligning these interests, RNW amplifies a powerful, unified voice for clean energy across the region.

Influence

RNW members gain access to trusted relationships with policymakers, regulators, and utilities, ensuring member priorities are heard. RNW’s proven advocacy team is active in key state and regional proceedings every day, representing members and advancing clean energy opportunities.

Expertise

Members gain access to RNW’s deep technical knowledge on regulatory and policy matters, markets and transmission, interconnection, and siting, as well as timely intelligence on regional renewable energy and storage developments. RNW helps members navigate the technical, political, and environmental challenges of bringing projects online.

Membership provides regular calls, written updates and analysis, and one-on-one coordination with RNW staff to align strategies. We are your voice in a myriad of regional processes. Members also benefit from collaboration and networking opportunities through quarterly meetings, strategy retreats, and focused work groups addressing the region’s most pressing renewable energy issues.
