Kylin Brown is our 2026 summer law clerk. She supports Renewable Northwest’s regulatory work through legal research and writing, attending administrative hearings and commission workshops, and collaborating with members. Kylin is a 2027 J.D. candidate at the University of Washington School of Law with a concentration in American Indian Law, and holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies – Sociology from Whitman College. Between Whitman and law school, she worked within the Climate and Environment and Indian Country teams at Pyramid Communications, managing strategic communications projects and campaigns for clients including Tribes, state agencies, and non-profits. Her steadfast commitment to promote protections for people and the planet through pragmatic regulation and strategic economic development motivates her to explore energy law. Outside of work and school, Kylin leads a Bike MS team, dabbles in concert photography, and enjoys a casual birdwatching session.
