David Bobzien is Senior Director, West Region Regulatory & Political Affairs at NextEra Energy Resources. He previously served as the Director of the Nevada Governor’s Office of Energy and as the chairman of the Western Interstate Energy Board. David has served as a Council Member for the City of Reno and served four terms as an Assemblyman in the Nevada Legislature. David holds a B.A. in Government and Politics from George Mason University, and a Masters of Public Administration, natural resources and public lands policy emphasis, from Boise State University. He resides in Reno, Nevada with his family.
