The Old Mill Solar project in Bly, Oregon is a 6.8 MW project covers 40 acres and features a single-axis tracker system with 21,964 solar panels that produce enough clean energy to power approximately 1,200 residences. Original developer is Obsidian Renewables with a power purchase agreement from Pacific Power. NextEra acquired the project and completed construction in December 2015. More than 100 jobs created for construction, security and electrical workers from Oregon over the course of the project.
