Settlement in PSE Rate Case Reached on Colstrip
A diverse group of parties has reached a proposed settlement in the Puget Sound Energy (PSE) rate case that represents an important step toward a clean energy future in the Northwest.
As a party to the settlement, Renewable Northwest was especially pleased that the proposed agreement includes a conversation with the WUTC, Puget Sound Energy and other parties about repurposing the Colstrip transmission to be available to carry Montana’s energetic and complementary renewable resources to the West Coast. Montana’s clean resources could serve Puget Sound Energy’s customers with cost-competitive resources in the future, and be an important economic development engine for Montana.
